It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Adayer was first shown in the 1982 Melbourne Motor Show (was formerly the Phaeton - see separate post), It was a division of DIA Motor Company and manufactured by Dominion and International Automobiles Pty Ltd.
