It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Borland Racing Developments (BRD) are racing cars build in Melbourne, Victoria since 1984. Sabre kit cars were made from 1993 until 2000 when Sabre was sold to Junior Racing Developments (JRD).
