Gilgen was a steam three-wheeled coach (9-seater) built by the Swiss maker Gilgen and imported to Australia.
In 1881, the young British Princes Albert and George visited South Australian were intrigued by the Gilgen there, which was possibly the first automobile in Australia ... so the Gilgen helped to put Australia on the automotive map so is included as Australian!
