Triumph were British cars from 1923, imported as Complete Knock Downs (CKD) and assembled by AMI (Australian Motor Industries), in Melbourne, Victoria including the models Mayflower; Herald (1959). The Mayfower Utility would probably been designed in Australia. Triumph was bought by Standard in 1944, but later didn't want to be "standard" so Standard became Triumph!
