It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Daytona (kit car)

This Daytona was a kit car from Victoria (there is also a Daytona Coupe manufactured by Borland Racing in Victoria which is a reproduction of the American (USA) Shelby Daytona).
