It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Shearer

David Shearer was from Mannum, South Australia and built a steam car in 1899, Shearer was also a well-known agricultural machinery manufacturer.

Also part of the Ivan Hoffmann Collection, but not appearing here are copies of newspaper articles; web files; photos; images; correspondence; restoration project documents/information; wheel manufacture documents/information.
