It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Classic Roadsters (kit car)

Classic Roadsters made a Grand Duchess (in 1981) and a Duchess (MG TD replica) which was a kit car.

Australian Kit Kar also assembled a Duchess replica and share the same address and phone number (see Australian Kit Kar post).
