It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Tilke Engineering / KTW (kit car)

Tilke Engineering and KTW are Keith Wyndham Tilke of Sydney, New South Wales from 1987 until 1999.

Tilke Engineering / KTW produced in kit form cars such as Amaroo clubman (Lotus Super 7 replicas) [Amaroo Park was a motor racing track in Sydney, New South Wales (1967-1998)]; Echo; Speed, Sprinter; Sting; Steed; 2XL.

In 1998 Keith Tilke retired and sold the company, production then moved to new locations in Victoria and New South Wales, see Bomac and Amaroo Clubsport Engineering posts.
