Chic

Chic were made by Clarence Chick in Adelaide, South Australia from 1 September 1924 until 1929, for Australian conditions but designed by the English company Bond and using English chassis and the English Meadows industrial engine. The emblem shows wings either side of a globe of the world showing a strong chain linking England to Australia. Perhaps about 25 Chic cars were made.

Also part of the Ivan Hoffmann Collection, but not appearing here are copies of company records/agreement (South Australian State Records - GRS513/3/P); emails & letters; Chic booklet; Meadows Automotive Components catalogue; articles; photos.

Also see Wikipedia.
