It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Australian Kit Kar (kit car)

Australian Kit Kar (or Australian Kit Car) is Doug Lemon an ex-Canadian living in Sydney, New South Wales who imported and assembled kit cars, such as the Alpha 1 (Ferrari 250TGO replica); Saxon (Austin Healey 3000 replica) & Duchess (MG TD replica) from 1995 until 2019.

Classic Roadsters also made a Duchess replica (see Classic Roadsters post) and share the same address and phone number as Australian Kit Kar.
