Kelpie Kargo was an invention of Robert (Bob) Page from Sydney, New South Wales and was to be made under licence in the American market by Kelpie Industires (USA). Kelpie Kargo allowed the floor and tailgate of a utility to be lowered to the ground for easy loading/unloading and was promoted in the latter 1980's until the early 1990's.
