It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Meyers Manx / Manx Buggies (kit car)

Meyers Manx (or shortened to Manx) were kit buggies made in California, USA; however, these were later made under licence in Brisbane, Queensland from 1968; then sold and name changed to Manx Buggies in 1972; then sold and name changed back to Meyer Manx and moved to Roseville, New South Wales in 1999. Models include the Daimler; Mirage; Alfa.
