Eco was designed by American, G Hamilton-Grapes, in 1921, for Australian conditions and was to be assembled in Australia. Mr Hamilton-Grapes traded as Austral Motors of Melbourne, Victoria. An Eco was made in USA and imported to Australia and a different specification Eco vehicle was assembled in Australia. Also see Astur post.
