It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Kevant Motors were father and son Kevin and Anthony Humphrey who made fibre-glass kit car sports and racing cars at Lakesedge Engineering in Wyong, New South Wales from 2000 until 2011.
