Reville was Jean Reville, an Englishman, who modified BSA sports cars (Palmer Specials or Palmer-Reville) in the 1930's; raced cars including the speedway midget "The Flying Gnat" and settled in Brisbane, Queensland also in the 1930's. In 1950 Reville Motors developed the Reville Ranger.

appearing here are copies of correspondence with the Australian Government (Australian Archives A461/1 M418/1/6) regarding production of the Reville Ranger.
