The Austin was made in the United Kingdom, but some were made in Australia from 1949 until 1966 (as BMC - see separate post), including -

Austin 1800's where sometimes referred to as "landcrabs", presumably as were lower to the ground than other road cars of the day.
Also, Austin UK sent chassis to Australia from 1924 until 1937 and Australian manufactures such as Holden built the bodies.
