Phaeton (formerly Phaetom) Motors, based in Melbourne, Victoria was a of DIA (Engineering) Pty Ltd, 1981. The Phanton was a replica of the Rolls Royce's Phantom, so much so that after court proceedings the car had to be altered so as not to infringe on Rolls Royce's Trademark and the" Adayer" was created (see separate post).
