Australian Six - distributors

Australian Six - distributors. Also see Australian Six; Australian Six - Harkness & Hillier posts.

FH Gordon & Company Limited built and sold the Australian Six in 1919, with interstate distributors, such as May's Motors in Adelaide, South Australia.  In 1920 Australian Motors took over production and created Australian Motors Sales Limited as the distributing arm. In 1923 the production was taken over by Harkness & Hillier Limited, who were then also the distributer.  Some Australian Six's were exported to New Zealand.

Also part of the Ivan Hoffmann Collection, but not appearing here are copies of - correspondence obtained from the National Archives of Australia (NAA); correspondence with Muesum of Applied Arts and Sciences; list of references; articles from magazines and books (including racing results); photos.
