It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Flinders

Flinders is listed in South Australian Motor Cars 1881...1942 by George Brooks and Ivan Hoffmann as being first registered in 1914, in Adelaide, South Australia. Also see an article in The Eyre's Peninsula Tribune dated 17 July 1914.
