It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). JBA (kit car)

JBA were based on a 1931 Jaguar available as a kit car from Scotland and assembled by Elite Auto in Perth, Western Australia in 1982 (Roadster) and 1992 (Tourer).
