It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!).

Comair
Comair or Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation was designed to built military aircraft and engines in Melbourne, Victoria from 1936 until 1985, however, they were alsoa bus body builder from 1946 until 1973.
