It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!). Bushmaster

Bushmaster is a military protected mobility vehicle designed by the Australian Defence Industries with the prototype built by Perry Engineering of Adelaide, South Australia in 1996 and manufactured by the Australian Defence Industries in Bendigo, Victoria.
