It qualifies as Australian if one or more components - body/engine/chassis were either prototype, designed, built, assembled, manufactured or made for use, only in Australia, (we also adopted a few New Zealand cars as Australian!).

Tozer and Sons
Tozer and Sons were Motor Engineers of Melbourne, Victoria and Edgar Tozer built tri-cars - motor cycles and side cars, designed the first motor-trolley for Victoria Railways and constructed a motor car.
