(2) Shrike was a tertiary-student project to design and build a racing car, conducted at Croydon Park College campus of Technical and Further Education in Adelaide, South Australia in 1988. The Piping Shrike is a bird and the bird emblem for South Australia (it is similar to, but smaller than the magpie).
