TJ Richards & Sons (1885-1951) was a coachbuilder and latter an automobile body manufacturer in Adelaide, South Australia. Tobias John Richards developed the "King of the Road", a two-wheeled scully (a lightweight horse-drawn cart), which he also used as his logo/slogan for automobile bodies. TJ Richards were involved with assembly and/or body builder of Armstrong Siddeley, Bianchi, Citroen, Fiat, Hudson, Maxwell, Oakland, Overland, Holden etc. etc. In 1941 it was renamed as Richards Industries and undertook munitions projects and aircraft construction. At the end of World War 2, in 1946 it became Chrysler Dodge Distributors Limited.
