Carl William (Bill) Wittber of Adelaide, South Australia was a motor enthusiast, an engine builder, builder of sweepers for the local marketplace, and constructed cars to travel on railways during the 1910's and 1920's.
Also, Wittber was the first to fly an airplane in Australia see 'Whittber's Hop'
